Wirtshaus Dorf 8 in Sankt Peter-Ording

The man who served us was totally impolite and rude, he brought comments like: “A small portion of french fries would have been enough” which in my opinion are simply dubious. We would probably have eaten the fries if they had tasted good;). It is way too overpriced for that in terms of services. The burger was relatively tasty, but there are also much cheaper variants in comparison. And if you have children this place is not a good idea to have a good time, you just feel unwelcome. Haven't been to such an outrageous restaurant in a long time.

We went to this restaurant for the first time today on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The roulade and the ox cheeks were a poem. During our vacation we will definitely go out to eat here more often.

The food was nothing special and carelessly prepared. The price / performance ratio wasn't right at all. We had imagined more about the village 8 location.

It wasn't our first time here. The food was good and the service very friendly. The safety distance at the tables was kept. We would love to come back here.

In Dorf8 it was delicious again. Burger, currywurst and salad were all great. The prices are perfectly fine for great food. Corona measures are observed very professionally here. Top! We're looking forward to next time.

Delicious beer but at high prices. Cola also very expensive. Food is good but not top level (burger well done, plates too small, no big knife if you don't want to use your fingers).

Nice and modern restaurant. Schnitzel was tender and the breading was crispy, the fries were good too. 1/2 conditions was friendly.

Constant loud music and a constant puffing through the staff. Should probably look youthful. Unfortunately the roulade was very dry. Is just intended for tourists, so that no regular visitors are necessary

We weren't the first or the last time here. We ate here 4 times within 14 days. Service very friendly, hygiene perfect, food very tasty, price-performance ratio is great. We always like to come back here. Last year we went to eat there a few times and we know that we will be back next year.

IMO a tourist trap. Had breakfast there on our first day in spo. Orange juice was out, for 7.50€ they give you a ~50ml glass of yoghurt. Staff not outright hostile but slightly unfriendly. Of course it’s a place that makes you run around for card payment and refuses visa (only German EC) as they prefer saving 10ct to providing pleasant customer experience. Overall nothing is outrageous but we arrived in good spirits and left in a bad mood so wouldn’t go there again.

Great service and clean compliance with the corona rules 👍🏻 The food is delicious too. Cocktails can be mixed directly on request. Price / performance is right. So all in all very recommendable. Have been here several times. The seats on the 1st floor by the window are particularly recommended.

We went to eat 8 today in the village. I had the big burger. My wife got the roulade with fried potatoes. Our food was delicious. Prices are a bit high. Service was very friendly and good.

Actually, we had made a reservation at the daily, but were sitting in the village of Acht, hence the recession here. The ambience is very inviting and we were warmly welcomed. As for the food, we were a little disappointed. The menu said something about fresh french fries (underneath we imagine homemade french fries), but unfortunately that wasn't the case. In itself, relatively small portions, some of the gentlemen were not full. The price / performance ratio is not quite right for us.

Burger and salad was delicious. The service very attentive. Unfortunately, due to the Corona measures, it was very quick and therefore a little cool.

Have the impression that children are undesirable. The price-performance ratio is not right at all! After a long wait, the food was half warm on the table. Complaint remained without an answer! Rarely have eaten this bad for the price. Absolutely not recommended. Don't let the external appearance fool you!

Price / performance an absolute letdown. French fries and burgers tasted identical, everything just like fat. It was definitely the first and last time in this restaurant (if you want to call it that ... expensive snack bar is probably better). Then we went to eat fish rolls and they were world class. Unfortunately you can only assign one star here (minus 5 would be the best grade)

Not again!!!! We ate at Tavern 8 tonight. Drinks were delicious but very expensive. Tourist prices. A point for that. My friend had the Surf and Turf Burger with fries majo and an extra sauce. For me there was the nacho burger in the vegetarian version. Also with fries. We give the second point for the many veggi offers. Food itself more than expensive and not worth the service. Frozen fries that weren't seasoned. For the price I would have expected homemade french fries or a high quality frozen product. The burgers way too small. No real burger buns but some kind of toasties. We didn't get full and went to the nearest ice cream parlor to get waffles and ice cream. We go out to eat and we go out hungry ... Service was relatively nice. We paid about € 60.00 for the meal with one drink each. In the end everyone has to know for themselves whether it is worth it.

The restaurant is inviting. The service was mostly friendly. The food came very quickly and there are relatively many vegetarian dishes. We ordered two burgers, one of which has unfortunately cooled down a bit. The garnish still needs to be practiced a little on the plate.

Caution. Unfriendly towards families with children. Today we wanted to have something to eat with our family (including two small children). We were turned down absolutely rude by the male waitress at reception. "He doesn't have tables that big". Most of the seats on the terrace were empty. Nothing like this has ever happened to us. The waiter was absolutely wrong in tone. It's a shame because, to this day, we really enjoyed being here with all of our family and friends, even if the food wasn't always great.

A restaurant to recommend! When we visited in June 2020, the service was super friendly. Great attention was paid to hygiene, everything absolutely correct in Corona times. The food and drinks came quickly, the service is attentive. The food was great too. We both had salad which was fresh and had a great dressing. The prawns on the salad were also excellent. Card payment is possible.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff

2 out og 4 orders were incorrect and we had to ask 4 times for the bill and wait more than 40 minutes after we asked for the bill. A shame because the food was ok
